Members of MontCo HLA participated in a discussion panel on cochlear implants at the Montgomery County (PA) Intermiediate Unit on April 26, and organized by its staff . Attendees included parents of children with or being considered for CI’s, IU staff members, and others interested in the topic. Members Tom Van Arman, Diana Bender, Donna and Bob Penman, and Don Groff described their experiences with hearing loss and CI’s, then took questions from the audience. It was a lively and informative hour and a half, all agreed.
