A dozen members defied tornado warnings to attend the official introduction of the loop system at the Jeanes Library. Don Groff described the system history, installation, and operation in some detail.
Refreshments were provided, with a toast offered with sparkling cider.
A diagram of the system is provided here. Some of the system components were provided by our chapter.
We will officially introduce the new hearing loop system in the Willaman Community Commons at the library. A chapter member will describe the loop installation in some detail, although this is primarily a social event, a coming-out party, so to speak.
A number of loop receivers will be available for those without T-coil-equippped hearing aids, or no hearing aids at all.
As always, visitors are welcome, and especially at this event.
Light refreshments will be available.
Monday, October 7, 6:00 – 7:45 p.m.. The meeting room is in the lower level of the library.
Don,
Sorrry I cant be there. We are on the Cape till October 17th.
