For our May meeting, chapter member Alice Dungan will provide a recap of the Emergency Preparedness presentation delivered by Delaware County Emergency Services during the April 11th  joint conference hosted by All Generation, Chester, and MontCo chapters.

One focus will be on the Functional Assessment Service Team (FAST) and the tools they’ve developed to support people with disabilities, including those with hearing loss, in both short-term and long-term emergency situations. These resources are designed to help individuals better prepare, respond, and stay safe when emergencies occur.

If you attend, you can expect practical guidance, awareness of available support systems, and strategies tailored to safety and communication needs during crises.
